THE PRAKTINA SYSTEM

Praktina FX
The Fifth Generation

Important changes and improvements have been made in the fifth generation of Praktina FX.
These are the changes in the version 1:
• Body casting and top cover
• Internal cover of shutter focal plane
• Film Take-up Spool
• Screen Lever Lock
• Mirror Support
• Camera back
and these in the version 2:
• Optical viewfinder size and edge
• Film reminder dial with ASA and DIN film speed settings
• Eyelevel finder, brighter and with different look.

The Praktina FX model SA2 and SA3 exported to some western markets have sometimes special markings. The body, the viewfinders and the camera back are painted or engraved with inscriptions as "GERMANY EAST" or "GERMANY U.S.S.R." or "GERMANY U.S.S.R. OCCUPIED". The logo "KW Germany" on the top of the camera is covered by a label with only the "KW" logo, and the "Germany" inscription on the viewfinders and the lenses is milled.

See the specifications of this model in the Praktina specifications page.
